It's smart to stay hydrated for many reasons (one of the best is youthful skin!) and it is hard to drink too much. A good rule of thumb is to take your body weight in pounds, divide by 2 and the number you get is the number of ounces of water you should drink a day for optimum hydration.
150lb woman should drink 75 ounces of water a day.
Of course you should also drink ounce for ounce additional water for any alcohol you drink - so if you drink a 4 oz glass of wine with dinner, you need to drink another 4 oz of water above your daily goal.

You can't drink too much water...it's healthy for you and they say to drink shitloads of it anyways. I drink LOTS of water all day too...and aside from having to pee all the time, nothing bad should happen. If it was alcohol or something with caffeine in, it would be a different story, obviously...but there's nothing wrong with drinking lots of water all day long.

i have one kidney ( i gave one to my dad) anyway i researched alot about how important water is to your body. i was amazed at how much water is in your blood, muscles,brain etc... i know that they say 8 8ounce glasses a day. i try to drink that much but usually can't. best wishes
