No, the Bank will not accept such cheques.
This is to avoid any unwanted issues to occur such as
1. amendment of amount or beneficiary name by any Bank Officers
2. the writing on the cheque will fade and disappear on its own

Do not do it!!! Your boss is laundering money and you will get charged in the scheme. When that money is deposited into your account, the deposit will be reported to the FBI, CIA and IRS plus other federal agencies. The bank will not allow you to write a check against the deposit until the funds have cleared. The fund will be held pending any investigation as to the source of the funds - drug money most likely. The bank will have major questions about your account. Here's someone who has little in their bank account, then all of a sudden there's a $60,000 deposit followed by a $60,000 withdrawal. The Feds will be notified, guaranteed. Trouble at work is nothing compared to the trouble you'd get from the Feds if you followed through with your boss's scheme.

Some banks do have instructions to refuse cheque written in pencil.
But I woud say that you will go for it only if you would wish to give away ur bank balance to somebody.

Maybe, but don't make a habit of it. Don't use red pen either. It is best to use black or blue ink.
