I normally give my cat 1 can of Fancy Feast in the morning and then 1 more after I get home from work. This morning I gave her 2 cans of it and she's thrown up (as far as I know) twice today. I'm not sure if it's just because I gave her too much food or if she's coming down with something.

Cats will over eat. Mine throws up quite a lot. It means nothing, except watch how much you feed them, and add a little oil in there diet. My cat is older and needs her food almost liquefied in order to digest it.

I have 3 cats, 2 older and 1 kitten, all are indoor only, 2 med hair and 1 long hair. I feed them a mix of food, all dry, and the primary part of the mix is the outdoor formula by Purina, it has reduced the amount of ill kitties by 90%. I used to come home to piles all over. If you want to change foods, do it very slowly, over 3-4 weeks. My vet also told me that feeding moist foods could create upset stomachs in cats.

do not feed him canned tuna; it has issues in it that are very undesirable for cats. if your cat has a hairball issue, this is become self sustaining from this. he's probably in basic terms a finicky eater; an particularly obscure expression which yields no perception as to therapy, yet that's what they call it. Your vet can, after examination and a few probing advise and furnish a foodstuff recurring which will in effective condition your cat. BTW, puking does not unavoidably advise he's ill; cats puke for many distinctive motives. specially circumstances they simply experience like doing it! I had one cat for an prolonged time that would barf 5-8 situations each and every week for no obvious reason; it grew to become into in basic terms area of his recurring.

Cats most often vomit because of hairballs. To reduce the throwing up feed the cat some petroleum jelly (vaseline) , if it doesnt eat it right away then try petromalt, a malt flavored petroleum. Smear it on the cats paws and the cat will lick it off and do this a few days a week. Also, brush the cat regularly to cut down on hair balls.

cats tend to vomit their food when they overeat. sometimes, it's from stress. besides which, fancy feast is very fatty! try some leaners brands like Iams. the first ingrediant in pet food should be a meat, like chicken or fish. the labels can really help you choose.

her stomach could just be reacting to the fancy feast. even though she may have ate it for a long time. try giving her a little solid food or switching her food...

that is the thing about cat, they never over eat, once they are full, they will just leave the food tray. perhaps, she was trying to cough out the furball in her stomach and accidentally throw out all her food.

Try giving her some dry biscuits/food. In case she is hungry?

that sounds like alot of food, if your cat has worms it will feel more hungry than it is and possibly over eat if the food is there.

She probably just ate too much. Give her lots of water.
