A lot of people like it with lime. I would prefer a lemon, but I end up drinking it without either most of the time.

Hello Chloe G! Here in México we dont use limes with the beers (they are yellow and pointy in the ends and they have a sweeter flavor) We use lemons because they are sour and it brings out the flavor of the beer.Sometimes we squeeze some lemon drops in the bottle and if you like you can add some slices of lemon inside of the bottle. I don't drink it personally because I don't really like it. My husband loves the stuff but he will not drink it without lime. He says it has to be lime not substitutes

lime. you know the reason corona and other beers like them are served with a citrus fruit? because it is served in hot and dry countries,the citric acid is the best way to keep the flies away! just fyi. not that that really affects the answer....
