I've actually talked to a lot of my guy friends about this and according to them and their friends, going bald is usually a little weird for them, not to mention VERY uncomfortable for us. (Stiff stubble rubbing you raw) I have been told after I have used an electric to shave it really short, that it was the best cut. It's still soft againts their face, still offers the protection it's their for, and is still completely comfortable.

i perfer none but i hate the stubble so i just gave up shaving.

Smooth is always good in my opinion...some is alright as long as it is in the shape of a "landing strip" and very well manicured.

well....I keep mine, but i shave my bikini line. I think it looks better and clean like that.
