If you eat too much food that is high in carbohydrates, it skews your blood sugar to the point where you fall asleep easily. Stay away from breads, fruit and sugary stuff and you won't fall asleep after meals.

because you tum takes all the energy to digest the food, and your brain makes you rest after a meal. this is not just with diabetics but with other people as well, they used to recomend that you laid down for a while after eating. neither should anyone swim or take exersize after eating. hope this answers your question.

its a drop in your sugar watch what you are eatting and eat small meals.
