This is the typical response of somebody who sees thought out criticism as ridicule. I fully accept the right of everyone to believe in whatever they like. There must be things that people believe that you feel are quite incorrect and you would feel free to comment on if asked. Those people might also feel ridiculed even though you only say you feel they are wrong. Why don't you be more tolerant and accept that no matter what you believe , you could be wrong.

Not ridiculing others beliefs means being brought up well, with respect for others, and being well informed on subjects, regardless of ones personal beliefs. Ridiculing others is everything opposite, of course.

If you are never ridiculed, then you don't have any true friends. At some time in our lives we need to be ridiculed.

Solution: Learn to ridicule yourself. Then, when someone else ridicules you, you may learn something.

Beliefs are no exception. Hitler believed that Jews were inferior. He needed to be ridiculed for such a stupid belief.

Some muslims (not all) believe that God wants them to kill all who do not believe in Allah. They need to be ridiculed. But news reporters imply that they the psychopathic Muslims (not all) have a right to believe what they want and should not be ridiculed for their hatred of jews and Americans.

No, it does not. Why would it?

This is one of those things that sounds good when you say it, but if you stop to think for just a moment you realize that it in fact doesn't make any sense at all.
