I had problems when I tried the Beta version and went back to IE6 but saw the Yahoo ad to download a version of IE7 which is especially for Yahoo and only downloaded it a few hours ago so not really well placed to say also on a brand new computer running Media Centre Edition not just XP or ME and that might have some bearing on the matter.

Many users are reporting the same problem. However I am using IE7 on my computer since a few months and I had not experienced any problems. I would suggest to run a cleaner program to clean windows registry, and other system junk from the hard disk, probably that will resolve the problem
Free RegScrubXP registry cleaner
http://www.sofotex.com/RegScrubXP-download_L7528.html
Free Crap Cleaner ccleaner

I am also using firefox, it works great. Firefox works great on google owned sites. Whereas on Yahoo sites IE works better. So I am using both the browsers without any trouble.

I consider Mr. classic. I had very lots an identical subject whilst first setting up internet Explorer 7. a working laptop or laptop tech/buddy of mine pronounced doing the very comparable element..pass into administration panel..upload/eliminate classes..then locate internet Explorer 7. eliminate it. Your equipment will pass returned to internet Explorer 6. curiously, internet Explorer 7 is Beta. there have been some bugs in it, yet those seem to have been straightened out now.

Same here. I downloaded IE7 a week before, and most of the time it would freeze. I didn't like it. so i removed IE7 from the computer. I think u should go back to IE6.

I see all the time that people are not happy with IE7, it was a mistake to install it in the first place, try to uninstall it and install IE6.

IE7 is still in beta form...uninstall it and wait for the final release. If you uninstall IE7 it automatically reverts back to IE6

I think that you shouldn't use internet explorer. It is considered one of the worst ones. Try opera, firefox, netscape or aol (browsers).
