In the north (= Flanders) they speak Dutch (58 % of the population of Belgium).
In the south Wallonie, they speak French
In Brussels, they speak mostly French and a minority Dutch (Flemish). Officially Brussels is bi-language (French and Dutch) but in practise this is not true.
Near the German border their is a minority that speak German.
Most of the Belgians have a good knowledge of English. The Flemish and Germans speak in general also French fluently. The Walloons not always Dutch.

Flemish (Dutch) in the north
French in the south
German near the German border
In Brussels, the official language is French but you'll find Flemish there as well.

The Flemish community in the north speak Dutch (58% of the population).
The Walloon community in the south speak French (31% of the population).
And then there's a German-speaking community, in the minority, in the east.
