Marriage is unquestionably a criminal prestige no longer a non secular one. those vows you have given are for a Christianity rite. Vows can variety in keeping with what you desire. If somebody is non-non secular, Atheist, or Agnostic they could make sure on a civil rite, there could be no point out of God in them. for various faiths at the same time with Judaism or Islam the vows could be in accordance to their faith. Mine have been somewhat distinctive, i'm of Christianity faith and my husband is Druze, that's a type of Islam that has a number of the ideals of Christianity, Judaism and Islam all in a single. Druze believes in parts of all 3 yet no longer each and every little thing of all 3. Like they have faith there's one million God yet no longer that Adam grew to become into the 1st guy between different issues. With that, we had a rite that commemorated the two one in all our faith's.

"...Ye do err,not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage..." Matt. 22:29-30.This was the reply Jesus gave the Sadducee's when asked who's wife a woman would be who had several husbands once in heaven. In heaven the only marriage (and rest assured their will be one) will be those who have excepted His Son."But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murders, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone;which is the second death." Rev. 21:8."And at midnight there was a cry made,Behold the bridegroom cometh;go ye out to meet Him." Matt. 25:6. If that cry went out right now would you be prepared to go out and meet Him ? In view of your question I think probably not.Won't you please talk with Jesus about all of this and find peace with Him.

According to the Mormons, God is married. His wife kind of walks 10 steps behind him, however.

well, god is God and man is man, and God only created the institution of marriage for man because man needed companionship and he would be happier if he were married.

You seem to assume God and man are the same.
God is the Creator and is different, much greater than we are. He does not have the need - he is whole in his being.
We are not - we have needs - including the need to share in life with one of the opposite gender - and have all of the benefits of doing so.
I am married and my life is so much fuller for it. I am glad God created marriage for us, in his wisdom.

In a sence He is married to all of us as He has
taken the responsibility to die for our sins so
that we have the chance to be with Him after
this life, if we want it.
