Every time someone decides they are gonna wait for me to pull out of stall so they can have it....I sit there till they drive off, am I the only one who absolutely hates this?

Its not selfish. Its rude of the other person, it takes the person longer to move out of the space if someone is waiting.

I live in a fairly small town. You can park within 50 feet of the door of the supermarket. I actually park in an empty spot, and walk requardless of how far it is.

I think you're very rude. Yeah it's fine to take your time, and not let the person rush you, that's what I do, but to take so long that the person drives away that's mean. Where I live there's a ton of parking spots (if you wanna walk a mile!) I usually won't wait for someone if I just see that they've gotten in their car, but if I see back up lights, sure I'll wait! And that's how I got in an accident once I hate how you people think it's YOUR spot, even though its a FREE country!

It doesn't irritate me at all. I carry on as I normally would and take the time I need and neither hurry nor take extra time. It's fine by me if somebody wants to wait for my spot, I don't give it much thought really.
To be honest I think you are being the rude one by waiting for them to drive off instead of just carrying on as you normally would. How can it possibly be rude for someone to wait for the spot to become available? Unless they're honking their horn or something to try to get you to hurry up I don't see what the problem is.
Even though there are available spaces further away, keep in mind that people may have reasons why they need to park close to the entrance, such as health issues. You are being selfish and inconsiderate by refusing to leave your spot until they're gone.
Just my honest opinion.

GREETINGS, well it's not really about who deserves it but what the law allows. A person standing in the spot is loitering and blocking access to public parking, so the motorist should legally get the spot. Doesn't seem fair does it? I would think most people would pass by someone standing there figuring the spot was saved and really since the standing person found it first they should get it but the law doesn't think that way....logical.

I think you are very rude, why are you so hateful, just let them have the stupid spot. You are wasting a lot of precious energy being so trivial. I hope your day gets better. If you were able to drive you would not have a problem getting out of the spot with someone behind you. The parking lot is not as narrow as your mind. God bless

No since I've waited for spaces myself. If I'm going to my car and I see someone looking for a space I'll let them know I'm getting ready to leave mine.
Parking is so limited today every day is like the Christmas Holidays.
You should find out what is really bothering you....it can't possibly be a silly parking space.

Those clowns who wait for a parking spot make me laugh. I just park 30 feet down and get parked and inside before the clown waiting for the closer spot.

YOU ARE SO SELFISH.
Parking spaces are limited. So do emphatise those who've been driving round and round the carparks.
You are going to leave anyway. So, why cant you just do it sliiiiightly quicker and let the other driver have your space.
If you were him/her, wouldn't you be waiting there for the parked car to drive out too?
Has common sense really gone extinct?

It's fine to wait. It doesn't bother me when people do it. It would bother me if they honked or something, but if they are just sitting there who cares? I can't believe you sit there until they drive off. That's such a snotty thing to do. I think someone needs to grow up a little a bit.

As long as they give me enough room to pull out, I don't mind much. But, if there is another parking spot just a short way's away, I get a little irked. That's just laziness.
