wow...lots of agnostics...anyway, I practice witchcraft (wicca) which is a pagan polytheist religion (yes, religion). I grew up Christian and know the background of many other religions. I did a lot of research until I found a religion that fit the beliefs I already had and this was it for me! It was hard for me to believe in Christianity and their beliefs, even more so now since I am madly in love with another woman!...I could not find it in myself to believe that God would punish his children and send them to hell if he loved them so much. I also cannot believe that God would give us these amazing wonderful feelings like I have for my girlfriend unless we were meant to feel them...but then again, we will be punished for them in the end right??? I don't know, it just never added up to me. My religion doesnt believe in hell, we believe in learning and growing and rebirth to do so. It is very peaceful and in tune with nature and surroundings...I love it and so glad that someone opened my eyes to a religion I honestly didn't even know was still practiced up until a few years ago. And the great thing about my religion is that it is very solitary, no groups or leaders or anything of the sort...yes there are basics and we consult each other and go to each other for advice but everything we do and believe is very much individualized. We also do not push our religion on anyone else...we are willing to educate but we do not try to 'convert' others to our beliefs because we realize that it is what works for us and may not be the case for others!

The religion I follow is called ASATRU. It is the religion of those the worship the Norse gods and goddesses (Odin, Thor, Freya and the like.

As for WHY I believe it is right...well....it is the right religion for those who are of Northern European ancestry. It is not right for anyone that is NOT of that ancestry.

There is no one right religion for everyone, if there were then all religions would have been the same to begin with and there wouldn't be different denominations within the monotheistic religions.

I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. According to the Bible the only way to salvation and a happy eternity is through belief in Him. I believe that organized religion is in a bad way. It has become a place for people to go and show off pretty clothes, look for a partner, preachers are too money minded. They have gotten away from the words Jesus said, to condescend to men of low estate. They have become more like the Pharisees. I love to be with christians but Jesus didnt just hang out with Godly people, He hung out with the sinners.

I'm an animist.

I believe there is sacredness in everything, especially the natural world, and picking-and-choosing only certain people/places/things as sacred while others are not just rings extremely false to me.

I tend to distrust those of any walk who claim to have all the answers. I believe spirituality should be experienced first-hand, not filtered and watered-down by someone else's translation. We all perceive the universe differnetly. I think we should celebrate that, rather than condemn each other for it.

I am a Jehovah's Witness. I believe it is the true religion because we are not partial to any race or nationality. We do not kill one another but rather, will die to protect one another. We base all of our teachings on God's word and we uphold high moral standards for all of our members, not just a few. We love one another and we continue to do the work which Jesus commanded his followers to do.

I became a catholic convert when I reached the age of 30 years, my reason for converting was the sacraments, I believe in them very strongly, each and every one of us have a journey with what ever we believe in, having faith and trusting that God is at our side comforting us in good times and bad, It really dose not matter what religion we belong to as long as we believe In God with all our mind, all our heart, and all our soul, this is what all mankind's spiritual journey needs to be for the sake of world peace for all. God bless.

I think Chris Rock said it best in dogma, and idea is good a belief cannot be changed. I call myself agnostic because i truely do not no for sure what is true, and im sure as hell not going to just assume something based on waht it hink si write. I dont think God exist, yet he very easily could, or something could. I don't no the best i got is an idea that is open to change.

Christianity was my first love. And after many years of studying the faiths of others, and experiencing spiritual things for myself, I remain a Christian.
All faiths teach us how to be superior and perfect. But Christianity teaches that
salvation doesn't come from becoming perfect. But by accepting our imperfections.
FORGIVENESS is the key to freeing onesself from all the karma, (retribution), and
freeing ourselves from this world.
