I soooo totally agree with you. I first want to say my condolences to you. Second, my friend was shot by her ex and yes, they do treat the murderer better. They treat them too good. Even if they get time and go to prison they get cable and all kinds of extra things...I understand the whole innocent until proven guilty but, it seems with some cases that is not the case and other cases they let the person get by with everything. I worked for a lawyer for 6 years and so I know a lot about the prison system and the jail system. Its not what it should be... Murderers should all be sentenced to death. I think an eye for an eye and like you said, you cant hug your sister so why should the murderer be allowed to hug anyone let alone talk to anyone....

I'm very sorry for your tragic loss! I agree...the law has REALLY gone around the bend, protecting the violent and letting law-abiding people basically fend for themselves! I think things would be better if we went back to a version of the Old West, where EVERYONE was packin', and knew that if they hurt someone, they'd PAY, usually at the hands of the victim's relatives!

It's be one thing if this current justice system WORKED...but it doesn't. It's corrupt and totally backwards!

Try to get some counseling to deal w/your grief and anger. Also, you can still sue the bastard and his family, whether he's convicted or not (Like they did w/O.J)...and RUIN his life! It won't bring back your sister, but at least some justice will be done.

I feel for ya!

Please know that I share my deepest sympathies for you and your family and the light will shine on you again. Just know that she is safe in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ never to grow old and when you are there she will be waiting with open arms. Know that she misses you as much as you miss her and far as the hooligan, well the Lords deciples are everywhere and they will make sure that he will get what is coming to him and the pain he will feel could never be duplicated by human hands. Mark my words there are alot of innocent men in prison with nothing more to lose. My prayers are with you and your family and as time goes on your pain will heal and I guarantee he will face his wrath sooner than you think. May the Lord bless and keep you and your sister now and until the end of time.

I totally agree with you......but I'll offer a different way to think about it. This s**t bag did this horrible crime, but he still has a family that loves him. His family didn't kill your sister. If you had a family member commit murder and you thought he/she may be put to death or in jail for the rest of his/her life, wouldn't you want to be able to hug them every chance you could ?

If this guy is convicted for murdering your sister, they will march him out of that court room (no hugs) & his family will either watch him die, or talk to him thru glass in prison. I know you can't hug your sister, but let his family have their last moments with him.....If you search your heart, I think you would want to do the same if it were your son/daughter on trial.

I'm sorry for your loss.

IT SEEMS THAT WAY..
AND THAT IS SAD...

WE CAN'T TAKE JUSTICE INTO OUR OWN HANDS...

LIFE IS NOT FAIR AND GOD KNOWS THAT..
THERE IS A HIGHER JUSTICE...
