I think the United States in particular should ratify the Kyoto Accord. With this in mind, set about to commit to offset our increasing emissions of CO2.
As to your question "what do you think the world will be like..."
I think Al Gore sums it up best in the movie "An Inconvenient Truth." If we continue to ignore this problem and act with business "as usual," our atmosphere will no longer be able to support us.
Jekin, above, claims that global warming is only seen in the northern hemisphere, whereas the hole in the ozone is in the southern hemisphere.
The glacial ice shelves are melting at alarming rates--in the north like Greenland AND around Antarctica. Climates from around the world interact in ways we cannot easily predict...we can only forecast.

As to politics...

Working with other nations to curb global warming, especially reducing fossil fuel emissions would be a good start. The Kyoto Summit was a good example. We lead the world in resouce use and pollution yet we do not attend a conference where countries meet to fight global warming. What a mistake.

What global warming? Humans are powerless to control Earth's atmosphere. We can't destroy it and we can't fix it. No direct evidence exists that humans have caused the change or our ozone layer. The Sun and normal natural events, beyond human control, affect the content of our atmosphere. Don't lose sleep over it.

I think global warming is good idea.
The hole in the ozone is in the southern hemi. The alleged source of ozone depletion is in the northern hemi. Atmosphere does not mix from north to south
