If the main course is indian then it probably wud be rice and spicy side dishes. hence the dessert wud be best if it is kheer or payasam made with milk and sugar. it really goes well and also enhances the good feel about the main course too!

Cous Cous with apricots

Instead of water use apple juice and prepare the cous cous according to the directions on the package. Usually, bring the water (apple juice), olive oil or butter and a little salt to a boil. Add the cous cous and diced dried apricots, cover and remove from heat. In about 5 minutes fluff with a fork and serve.

Cous Cous can be found in the aisle with risotto, rice pilaf and rice. I prefer the brand Near East plain cous cous. There are many other flavors too. Check out their website so you know what to look for when you go to the grocery. Check out the other site too.

u can make custard fruit salad and jelly.the custard powdr wil b available in a local supermarket and needs milk n sugar.jelly is also availble in powder form in shops u hav u have to boil it in water and set in the fridge...

sweet yams, sweet fried corn on the cob, blueberry pie, cherry cobbler, banana pudding, crumb cake, really anything sweet would go with it.
