I'm of course refering to our conquer of Mexico in the 1800's. Of land we had previously recognized as rightfully theirs and decided to walk into and settle. That's a matter of history.

When the Mexican land was "taken" in 1836 it was a mixture of Anglos, Tejanos, and Mestizos that took it from a destructive dictatorship. Texas then became a country for several years before joining the USA. Anyone could have entered the country Texas in the early years, if they wanted to work and settle the land, but that was 170 years ago. Now the land is settled and the jobs are needed for Texans as well as the health and social care that illegals from Mexico try to claim.

The thing that is different about the United States and Mexico, is money. In Mexico, if you have money you can buy off the police, the judicial system (not that its any good to begin with), immigration officers, anyone with any amount of authority, and live free and peaceful, but make sure you don't run out of money. Not saying that there are not some corrupt people in the U.S., but in Mexico you don't have to hide your illegal activities from the public, you just pay them off too.

Not sure where you live, but there are lots of Mexicans living here, both legally and illegally. Both the US and Mexico have rules of immigration. US citizens have to have proper credentials to travel to Mexico.

Did you notice that they did NOT pay to educate our children or give them food stamps or all of us health care or in state tuition, etc. in the 1800's? (Forgetting that we paid for it and that that is how they had gotten the land themselves, to begin with...)

You can't have both subsidized services and open borders.

They are ruining our schools for our children, our health care for our sick, and our social services for our poor.

They have no right to any of those services.
