Jesus would be Jehovah in the Old Testament. The Bible teaches that God the Father is manisfested (made visible) only through the Son. No one has ever seen God at anytime. Jesus was the One who was the creator, John 1 tells us that "All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made." Jesus would have been the one who appeared to Moses, and Abraham and others.

God is almighty, but Jesus is the son of God, Jesus is the whole reason for the New Testament

Absolutely,

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

"The same was in the beginning with God."

"All things were created by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-3

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26

"Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, And ye perish from the way, When his wrath is kindled but a little: Blessed are all that put their trust in him." Psalm 2:12

"The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." Psalm 110:1

Jesus is God, the second person of the Trinity, and definitely the God of the Old Testament.

You have it straight; Jesus Christ, otherwise known as Jehovah in the Old Testament, is the God of this earth and its Creator. It was through the divine investiture of the Father that Jesus Christ acted in His name and created the worlds without number, including earth.

Absolutely not! Jehovah is God ...past, present, future. Jesus is his Son. They are two very separate individuals. The Bible says over and over that Jesus is God's Son...

John 3:16: "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Isaiah 9:6 & 7: "For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and by means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this."

The above Scripture calls Jesus Mighty God, but that is not the same as Almighty God, and it speaks of his rule as princely, that role being bestowed always upon a son.

Psalm 83:18: "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."

Genesis 17: 1: " When A´bram got to be ninety-nine years old, then Jehovah appeared to A´bram and said to him: “I am God Almighty. Walk before me and prove yourself faultless. "

Matthew 3:16 & 17: "After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and, look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw descending like a dove God’s spirit coming upon him. 17 Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”

John 14:28: "YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. '

Matthew 24:36: "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father"

Jesus never existed. There may have been a mortal man (or men) who once did some of the things he was supposed to have done, but that's it. Here's just one of the problems: we can all accept there is only one God who is everywhere, right? Assuming there are other planets in the universe with people, did they each get their own Jesus, or did he "make the rounds"?

No, supposedly it's been taught that jesus is part of the spiritual 'trinity' who was with god in the formation of everything, in the 'beginning'. Some even believe he is 'the word' that was mentioned in Genesis; "In the beginning, the word was god and was with god" or something like that.

Why are you so worked up about it? Are you really interested?
