i got my belly button pierced two weeks ago and it has peeling skin around it and its red. it is also getting harder/taking longer, to get it to turn so i can clean it and a little bit of skin gets stuck on it. its kinda gross. what does this mean?? is it normal??

It's quite common for piercings to get infected. I'd say you're definitely suffering from an infection. Don't get overly anxious about it, but do definitely have it checked out.

Just keep washing it the way you are supposed to. It will take some time to get back to normal. If it doesn't start to get better in the next four weeks, keep a close eye on it. Some times the body will reject the ring and push it totally out of the body. I wouldn't worry just yet. Keep washing with antibacterial soap and what ever you do, don't put antibiotic ointment on it. You want it to heal from the inside out not the outside in.

See a doctor. Quickly. Do not blow this off.

These infections can be incredibly hazardous.

you might wanna get it checked out...mine did the same thing & i couldn't wear it...it may go away
