Yes, submit a claim. If you are not at fault his insurance if he has any will cover it. That is what liability is. The lowest amount for liability insurance for damage to others is $25,000. Your premiums should not go up, if anything his insurance company will be watchig him...

My suggestion would be to file with the other parties insurance company if you have there info.If you dont you can file a claim with your insurance company, and they can either help you find the other partys info.Or your insurance company pays out to have your veh fixed they may do what they call Subrogate against the other insurance company.Basically meaning go after other party for reimbursement. You would have to pay your ded first. Now if you go thru your insurance they may offer you one of there crp shops, meaning a preffered shop they work with, and you would just pay the deductible to the shop, and insurance would send check to them.If your not at fault your premiums wont go up.They would go up if your found at fault, and the damage to the other veh is more than 999 dollars. If its less than that your premiums wouldnt go up even you were found at fault.Just a little advice it is always easier to deal with your own insurance, the other party may try to pull one over on you, or not accept the estimate you get, and make you find a cheaper estimate.good luck

Notify your insurance and make a "records only" claim. Contact the other driver's carrier and go through them directly so that you don't have to worry about your deductible. In the event that they give you any hassle, go back to your insurance company and "open" the claim. They will repair your vehicle and go after (subrogate against) the other company to recoup their cost and your deductible. Especially if you are not injured, the other driver's carrier should be very solicitous in taking care of this for you (including a rental car while yours is repaired). Even if you are injured, they'll still easily take care of it. Your premiums should absolutely not be affected unless you have had numerous other claims. Good luck.

Your options are to file a claim directly with the at fault driver's insurance (no deductible applies) or to use your collision (deductible applies). Non fault accidents do not normally have an effect on your policy, but no one can say for sure but your company

Depending on where you live (no-fault or comparative negligence state...) you should be able to file against the at-fault party.
