I used to have smooth skin until afew years ago.
My cheecks are redish.
My cheecks and chin have bumps.
And around my chin there is an acne breakout.

Are there any -----REAL----- home remadies?

Dont tel me to get proactive or that crap, because I've heard it doesn't work.

And a dermatoligst over here is way expensive.

So yeah. I want real advice, not stupid myths like toothpaste.

By the way, toothpaste increases acne. (:

My skin is also alittle oily around my chin too.
Is there anyway to get rid of all of this?

It sounds like you have Rosacea to me. I had this, and I tried everything too.
Unfortunately, what I ended up finding to work is kind of expensive.
I had laser skin treatment. That was the only thing that cured it.
I keep it going by using Murad Acne Complex...it has not come back and it has been 3 years.

Well, I have to tell you that proactiv did work for me. It cleared up my face, and now I just use the Repairing Lotion once a day with my regular, store-bought cleanser and moisturizer. I don't want to sound like a commercial, but for several years after my second child was born, I had the skin of an oily-faced teen -- only my skin wasn't that firm! :) Anyway, I feel confident again -- only the occasional blemish pops up around that time of month. I like my skin again. Just thought I should tell you that. OH, and try this website: www.acne.org. What I actually do is use the proactiv skin repairing lotion the way they tell you to use the stuff on that website. Check it out. There's a video.

Your absolutely right none of that homemade crap seems to work and toothpaste seems to make it worse like you said. I have the same problem you have and about a month ago i bought the neutrogena face scrub and it has really helped me. Drink lots and lots of water as it helps the skin be more vibrant and clear. If you have a huge zit you can put some preparation H on it and it helps to shrink it. It sounds kinda grose but it works. Best wishes to you.

first of all, let me ask you what are the foods you just ate recently? avoid eating oily foods like fried chicken, pork etc. don't eat too much nuts and chocolate w/ nuts bec. that can make our skin oily. people w/ oily skin is prone to acne.

about ur redish cheeks well.... avoid exposing yourself to sun bec. it could cause sunburn & skin cancer too.

bumps. maybe dust has something to do w/ it.

about the home remedy. well, make sure u wash ur face before sleeping & try using an anti-bacterial facial wash. i use pond's anti-bacterial bec. i find it very mild on the skin. if u dont want to try it well you can try this---> oatmeal & honey. mix the oatmeal together w/ the honey in a bowl. apply it into your face and let it sit for about half an hour then wash your face using mild soap. you'll get smoother skin.

My skin was perfect until I had kids and then it went crazy. I started using Proactive and it immediately cleared up. I know you said you didn't want to hear about it, but it REALLY worked for me. I decided it was a little expensive so I switched to Mary Kay-also very good.

Actually I will tell you to try Proactive. My sister in law has trouble with adult acne and she began using it and her acne has disappeared. She's tried everything under the sun, OxyClean, meds, etc. Proactive unbelievably does work. Give it a try.

Make yourself a homemade mask using the things around you like yoghurt or honey or strawberries.
