Here is a version that has pudding in place of the peanut butter.. you could add any flavor that you want...

No Bake Cookies

INGREDIENTS
2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup butter
2/3 cup milk
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
3 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Mix together the sugar, butter or margarine and the milk in a large pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes.
Turn off heat and add in the pudding, oats and vanilla. Mix well and let stand for 5 minutes.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper

For people who are allergic to peanuts but love peanut butter there's a safer alternative -

1.Sunflower butter - Called SunButter it's made by SunGold Foods from sunflower seeds soybean oil, cottonseed oil, sugar and salt.
A 2-tablespoon serving has 200 calories and 16 grams of fat, 2 grams saturated
(about $2.50 for a 1-pound jar in health-food stores, groceries or online 800-487-5539, www.sunbutter.com).

2.Almond butter - is grittier and more expensive than peanut butter, but it can substitute for peanut butter in many recipes.

To make your own: Process two cups of blanched and toasted whole almonds in a food processor for a few minutes, add up to one teaspoon of salt, then process for a few minutes more. Yields a bit more than one cup.

3.Cashew butter - This is an interesting alternative to peanut butter, though it's a bit pricey.

To make your own: Blend in food processor two cups roasted cashews plus one to two tablespoons vegetable oil. Store it in the refrigerator.

4.Hazelnut butter - This is similar to peanut butter, only it's made with roasted hazelnuts.

To make your own: Combine one cup roasted and skinned hazelnuts and one or two tablespoons vegetable oil and salt and sugar to taste in a food processor or blender and mix until it has a spreadable consistency.

Hope you find one here that suits your recipe.
Good Luck. :)

Is your friend allergic to other nut butters? There is a such thing, for example, as almond butter. You might have to end up going to a health-food store or a macrobiotic-foods store to find them, but around here almond butter at least is in our local Safeway.
