OK - please stop and listen. DO NOT UNINSTALL IE7 (unless of course it is the Yahoo version which is floating around) - you'll be taking your Windows security levels back about ten steps, even if you never use Internet Explorer to surf the web.
Let me explain - Internet explorer is extremely integrated into Windows (was first made that way last decade as Microsoft's way of dealing with Netscape!) - which means that all the bugs/flaws inherent to IE6 are all carried right throughout your system. Think of IE7 as a MASSIVE system upgrade, not just a new browser.
It may take a little getting used to, but is well worth keeping. If you have any messenger applications, these also need to re-installed after installing IE7 - just simply to restore the way they connect to IE to function properly.
If you need any help here, don't hesitate to shoot me an email - more than happy to help out :-)

Granted, it takes a little getting used to...... commands are in new places...... but once you have gotten used to it, you just might find it is faster and more practical. It is certainly more secure and safe.
