i was wondering if anyone knew about cable theft, see the thing is i had this roommate and we were both on the contract...but i recently moved out due to issues... well i found out she got HOT CABLE... was wondering if since im gone and she gets caught... will i get in trouble too??? shes got a new rmmate and the light is under her name... im not living there at all... so what could happen???
this was my initial question, i have gotten an answer that asked me if i knew she had cable while i was there, but i didnt... lucky for me she got it after i left, can or will the company know when it was installed??? is that possible...

The cable company will never know, unless she ever calls them to get repairs and then they find there's no service account for her.
Like I said,YOU shouldn't worry about it.
Your friend should really call the company and tell them that she's getting a signal and just stop at that.

nothing, the people having it. they can't prove it was "stolen" when you lived there.
