I've been hearing (over the radio) about the CFO of Geico stating that he plans to visit every Geico customer's house wearing the gecko suit and thank them for choosing Geico auto insurance. Has anyone gotten a visit from him yet, because I'm still waiting for mine.

Umm.... I realize that the commercial was just a joke. So was my question. I just wanted to see what people would reply with.... (sigh)

But thanks for answering anyway.... I guess.

Hi Gavin, In EVERY car-insurance company you will have people who have had bad experiences. Geico is actually very good, but STATE FARM is bigger than Geico and most of the other ones put together. When you look at an insurance company you look at spending power, which translates into efficiency and agility in resolving your claim. You would do good with either one though. Unfortunately, one comes to realize how good an insurance is when it comes time to resolve a claim.. and by that time, it's too late. Play safe.

I do, but I don't live in DC, and that's where he was supposed to be making his personal visits, because they are #1 (insure the most people that any other carrier) in DC. And I have a feeling, it's just a funny commercial, and not something he's really going to do ;)
