I am in the restaurant business and Yellow Tail Shiraz is the best selling wine at the moment. It seems everybody likes the taste as well as the price.

I think shiraz from a small local vineyard, if available, or mail order from a small vineyard, possibly. They have some interesting selections.
Is that something you can get cured in oak barrels? Franklin Hill, and Four Sisters winery's are good.
I like Yellowtail Shiraz from Australia. That seems to be low priced and easy to find.

Wolf Blass Shiraz is good and inexpensive--I believe somewhere around 10-15 $. It's Australian. Since everyone's taste varies it's hard to recommend wine but this is one I enjoy.

go for someting from Northern Rhone. A Cote du Rhone, Cotie Rotie both have Syrah (Shiraz) as the primary varietal. I think they are earthy and wonderful and make you feel all warm and cozy.
