I have Capital One. Anyways..My limit is 750$, I only have 648$ to spend though. Say tomorrow I pay off that plus an extra 100. Do they allow you to do that? Making my limit 850$ then for that time..

Call the credit card company and ask them.

If you overpay enough, then you can buy something that costs more than your credit limit. If your credit limit is $750, but you paid $75 more than your balance last month, then you could buy something at $800 and still have $25 left on your credit limit.

Just make sure that the interest does not push you over your limit.

its up to capital one if they can let you go over your credit limit I work for credit cards if your credit limit is 750 that means its 759 whether you pay extra 100 or not if you pay extra to get the credit line sometimes they will let you go over but they will charge you over the credit limit fee. My suggestion is call them and ask for a credit line increase. hope this helps!

Call Capital One and ask them to increase your limit. It is not that much more anyway. I think they will do it for you.

you can do that - but most stores will split the bill - put X amount on the card, and pay cash for the balance -- you don't need to use your card for the entire amount of the purchase.
