I read in a magazine that this girl didn't know which guy got her pregnant and so she said she thought who makes the most money and could and would be most abt to pay child support.
Pay the money for the DNA
Might be the best money you ever spent. Just make sure you save it. Have it kept on record. You may think it will never come up again but it could and if yours is already done it cost is half as much.

There is no other way, there are a lot of men bringing up other men's children as the mother can get away with this lie, unless the child turns out another colour and then a lot will say the colour has skipped a few generations and that one of their great great great grandparents was black.
Lucky enough the guy who was told this was not stupid and got me to trace her family tree.
If you are not 100% sure it is yours then get a DNA test, if it turns out not to be your child then you do not have to pay for the DNA test and you have saved years of heartache and lies.
And if it is proved to be yours you can support it and love it.

DNA test is the only test to be sure. Thus, every alleged father and child should have their DNA tested at the hospital, if only for the child's sake, especially for health reasons in years to come. Without the father's DNA, the child looses some much vital information for himself, his/her grandchildren, etc forever. The proof is vital for the child's inheritance of the father's estate too.

Do you love the girl? Do you trust her? If yes, that's all you need to know. A child can be yours without being genetically yours, after all.
But otherwise, go for the DNA test.

I just want to add, you can look for "features" in the baby -- does he or she have your eyes, or your mom's mouth or whatever? But this isn't always accurate. Sometimes the baby really takes after the mom's side of the family -- and sometimes a baby may not look like the dad at first, but after a few years, the features come out. You can look at baby pictures of you, your siblings and your parents and compare. If they look like those pics, then it's very probable the baby is yours. But the problem is, if they don't look like the pics, the baby still could be yours.
$400 for the top-of-the-line legal test may seem like a lot, but it can save you a lot of heartbreak and money down the line if the child is not yours. And if the child is yours, then you at least know it for sure.

Well....LOL I tease my husband all the time that our 3 yr old isn't really his....but there isn't denying it because she's identical to him!
I really feel for men when it comes to this topic because there are plenty of low down women who sleep around and just pick the 'best' man for the daddy role.
If I were a man I think I'd have dna tests done no matter what-

I suppose the child would look like you -- share some genetic features, you know? But DNA would be the only sure way to tell.

ok- genes dna don't really matter...this child could look like you,, or similiar bodyparts, beauty marks-smile..eye colour some examples- also waiting till the child grows- the saying you can see your life through your child... its amazing seeing yourself -the way they act-temper-walk-talk-play-stance..sometimes it can be freaky... this might help but other than that dna is the only way to be 100 %accurate
