Two ways to go about it.

Write poem and then turn it into music.
Write a catchy tune that says it all, then find the words that fit the melody.

You can go for wit, or you can go for sentimentality. Sometimes a mixture of the two is best.

Love is an abstract concept. You need specifics to make your point. Some of the best love songs is meeting the person, falling in love with the person, or breaking up with the person. There just isn't that many love songs about how great things are.

A very under rated song was written by Willie Nelson and is on his Spirit Album.

I've guess I've come to live here in your eyes. This must be a place called paridise. A thousand times I've seen you and a thousand times you take my breath away. I have doubts and fears that you may go away. ... etc.

Yes. They customarily wrote songs which treated instead stange matters... customarily relatively unusual lyrics. Love songs? Nirvana wrote About a Girl, which might be interpreted as a love tune... the equal is going for Drain You. Stories? Not that I realize of... Funny Songs? Beans, they're on helium.

Write down all of your loving thoughts about her & the feelings that you have for her... then put it in the form of a story... then make it rhyme... then give it rythm... then polish it about 15 times (to make sure everthing is the best).
I can help you if I have all the information that you're going to use, to create the song.

start with a hook
then form a song around it
words can come later

or you can start with a vocal melody
then write the song around that

inspiration sometimes comes late night
try staying up late
when your nerves are very sensible and on point

Just think of what you want to say then try to make it ryme even if the song isn't in the same order of how you thought about it.

Think sweet but sexual, nice but a little naughty. Make references to her hair, her eyes, her lovable body. But stay away from personality; that makes a song boring.
