SO yeah there are all this Anti-immigrant people out there who hate Mexicans just cuz they broke the law to earn a better leaving but im sure that EVERYONE in this worl has broken the law at least once for a good reason. Ok yeah sure there are many immigrants who come here with bad intentions but hey the majority come to earn a living and help out in this country we do the hardest jobs around here and get paid the least . I was born here In d US but both my parents are Mexican(legalized) but alot of my family is not . Non of them do anyrhing bad theur only crime is crossing the border because they nedeeded to not cuz they wantes to .. SO why are there so many racist who would do anything just to keep Hard Working people out of here??

There may be some, perhaps many, who are anti-Mexican immigration because of racism. If you look, however, at the history of the US there is always a back-lash whenever there is large scale immigration by one particular group. There was a time when it was anti-Irish. There were signs that actually said "now hiring...no Irish". It seems to be the way many people respond whenever they are faced with an increasing population that is different than there own. Yes, we Irish were accused of breeding out of control, taking jobs away from "real Americans" and all the rest. I'm sorry the debate has taken on such racist overtones. I support Mexican immigration, legally, but I do understand why many feel they have to cross illegally. I'm also sorry there are so many racists out here.

I think that the people who hate illegals are afraid of change. They need to realize that the illegals are looking for a better life and can't get approved for becoming legal immigrants. I totally agree with you that the illegals aren't the worst thing that has happened. I think of it as this, "Illegals are the way of ending borders. The world will become a better place by not saying this country is mine and you can't come. They are eliminating the borders so we can finally live in peace." I have a few Mexican and Puerto Rican Friends, all legally here, but they sometimes have a hard time with people interrogating them or pestering them that they are illegally here. Illegal Immigrants just want to live in the greatest country in the world and create a better life and new chances. you are right. We shouldn't be so worried about this.

I don't know anyone who hates Mexican Immigrants.
I know people who want laws obeyed. Laws have a purpose. What if everyone got to pick and choose the law they feel is OK to break-it would be chaos.
What if everyone who wanted a chance all over the world to come work here came- with no order to it.
It is hard to accept but this disorder from a flood coming in Illegally from all over has caused some problems. Serious problems.
Work on those problems and there might be a solution.

Something you don't understand obviously. THEY BROKE FEDERAL LAW. When you do this, you are to go to jail. Also, it costs us LEGAL American citizens billions of dollars to pay for your illegal family's education, welfare, health care, and we don't get their unpaid taxes EVER. They don't deserve to be here. If they wanted to come into this country, then they needed to fill out the papers, pay the fee, and wait their ******** turn just like your parents supposedly did. Seeing that your English sucks, I'm betting they didn't come here legally. Another reason that a lot of Americans don't like illegal mexicans is because they demand that we learn their language, change our laws, and submit to all of their demands, while breaking our laws, and not paying our taxes! They also trash our country. We already have enough bad Americans breaking our laws and trashing our country, we don't need illegal mexicans doing the same. One day you and your family will be deported for your illegal entry, and I will be there on the border sealing it up so that I can make sure you don't get back in.

Why do you say that some people hate mexican immigrants? Hatred is for the illegal immigrants from all over, because being an illegal, no matter what the reasons are, is ILLEGAL. Let us say you worked hard and made good grades, good enough to get you a scholarship to any university in the country. You worked hard at a job and bought yourself a really nice car. Then, you meet some people who are having a hard time making ends meet. They work, but don't make much money. You are kind and begin giving them rides to class. This goes on for a long time, because of the patient and caring person that you are, you don't mind. Sometimes you give them rides to appointments, to the mall, to visit friends. They never offer to pay you for your gas, but that's all right because you have earned enough to keep gas in your car.

Then, one day you go out to get in your vehicle and it is gone. You are worried, but it is returned the same day. It turns out your friends took it because they didn't have a car and needed it. That, again was OK with you because you are compassionate.

Then, your friends begin to resent you because you have this fine car and they don't. It isn't good enough anymore that you are willing to help them, they want your car for two days a week. This makes no sense to you but they insist as it isn't fair that you have this great car and they have nothing. They also tell you, because you are so lucky and because you are so smart and because you work, that you must keep gas in the car so they don't run out.

Then, one day you cannot let them use the car on their appointed day because you really need it. They get angry and call you names and tell you you are greedy and that their only crime is that they don't have a car. They get angrier and call you names you do not deserve.

Are you getting it?

There are millions of people all over the world who are poor and want to come to America. We have proper procedure. It isn't convenient for those wishing to come, as they are impatient. It is fair, however, as America needs to regulate the numbers of immigrants coming in, and needs to run background checks on those applying.

Do me a favor. Find out how Mexico deals with people from Central America who illegally enter their country. Find out how the rest of the world monitors it's borders.

Calling us racist because we are being careful is not the best way to deal with your problem. Illegally entering the USA requires more than just coming over the border. It means using an innocent persons ID, damaging that persons life and causing them great financial harm. Do you consider that, or is that person expendable to you?

What will ultimately happen is that if Americans continue to hear the unkind and wrongful words being said to them by people who are breaking the law, they will respond even more than they are today.

Is it fair for your people to break the law? It is called rationalization and is shows a lack of moral fiber. You need to think about the entire picture and not just a snap shot.

Stop making this a racist issue, it isn't. I have a big problem with my tax dollars being used for anything other than to help LEGAL citizens. And why should some have to go through the long process of becoming legalized when all they had to do was...nothing?

Last year the Harris County Hospital District (metro Houston) spent 92 million dollars of our tax money on health care for illegal aliens. 92 MILLION!

Immigrants or illegal immigrants?

Mexican is irrelevant, but legally here or stealing our services is a very big difference. It is the difference between a guest and a thief, and it is not racism to want to get rid of thieves.

Why is it racist to say we don't want to pay to educate someone else's children at the expense of a good education for our own children, particularly when they are breaking the law to be here in the first place? The reason there are limits in the law is that poor people don't make enough money to pay enough taxes to cover the cost of education for their children, much less other services poor people and their families use. We have to stretch the education funds we pay to cover the poor. Our own poor is one thing, but there are literally millions and millions of illegal immigrant children we are paying to educate at a cost of about $10,000 PER YEAR PER CHILD all at the expense of our own children's education.

Not wanting someone to steal our children's education that we pay for is not racism.
