You need to take a look at the CD. If you see a little label on the cd that says CD-r then no... those disks can't be erased. If you see a little tag that says CD-RW then yes. If it's a manufactured cd as in like an artist's cd you bought at like walmart or something then no to that one also.

not unless its a reusable disk, if it is then you can erase songs and/or data, if its a regular cd then you're out of luck, once you burn the songs on it, you can't erase them.

you can do it with RWs but not with the one thathas R on it...
