okay im 13 years old and i get freaquent charley horses most of the time i wake up at night move then get one i have had them since i was in 4th grade about 10 or 11 is this normal for my age or should i call a doctor

Mention it to your doctor next time you see them, but just to keep them informed. Might ask your health or PE teacher about them?

Also try eating a bananna each day since sometimes low potassium (which you can get from banannas) causes Charlie horses.

This sounds crazy but I have been reading a lot about this lately. Put a bar of soap under your bottom sheet off to the side around your calf area. The pains will go away.

Put a magnet on it next time and see if it clears up, or elevate your legs like on side of sofa.
THis is normal, it will fade with age and wisdom

drink plenty of water and contact a doctor. muscle cramps or spasms are usually due to low potassium.

there is nothing a dr can do. its a cramping of the muscle. Just drink plenty of fluids and stretch regurarly.

YOU NEED TO INCREASE YOUR MILK YOGART AND CHEESES TO GET MORE CALCIUM ICE CREAM IS GOOD ALSO (LOTS) AND SEE IF AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS YOU FEEL BETTER IF NOT YOU MAY HAVE TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR
