Truth is, you can't know for certain this isn't what happened.
As Arthur C. Clark stated, "any significantly advanced technology is indistinguishible from magic" so it's certainly possible that the Bible and Christian religion was fabricated, and given to people who simply couldn't distinguish aliens from what would appear to be gods.
Wouldn't it be a hoot if all this time you Christians have been worshiping some alien kid, and we're just his unattended science project?

Whats the matter Common_Sense_Don't_Hurt... Am I testing your faith too much?
If you don't like to have fun with "what if's" then turn off your computer and go read your bible.

This would be really hard to deal with for me because I have used the "I don't believe in Aliens but I don't harass them on Yahoo UFO forums" Many times to try to expose the silliness of the Atheist. So I guess I would just be dumbfounded and wondering how those hundreds of Bible prophecies got fulfilled.
May GOD richly bless you until the aliens return.

God would be an alien, wouldn't God? But I would want to see the outer space aliens with the super ray guns that could vaporize stuff and rematerialize it in another reality and they would have spaceships that fly so fast they come back yesterday and slap your face then the take off and come back the day before that and slap your face. Then you would say "What the ?" And they would fly by in their spaceship and wave at you and you would say OH, and then a muted trumpet out of nowhere would play "wah-wah-waaahh."

Everything is already written how everything works Scientists can go on speculating eternally about everything. They will only get it right when God lets them. For universal information and the Vedic scientific description of the Creation go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com get book How the Universe was Created and our Purpose in it. It will blow your little atheist mind. Evolution has already been proven false by the scientists. Get the book the Hidden History of the Human Race. by Michael A Cremo

To be honest, I think that "theory" is even more believable than creation "theory" as told by the Bible. I believe in ET life to begin with, and it's a lot easier for me to believe that aliens had something to do with it, rather than a supernatural deity.
Edit: I'm not saying I believe in that theory, obviously, but I think it's just as possible, if not more possible, than the one religion gives us right now.

Check out some of the stories of Aboriginal Dreamtime; they have instances in which they meet "the sky gods." The descriptions in the stories sound shockingly like UFO abductions.

If that were the case, I don't think much would change regarding how I live my life. I mean, I don't think all Christians would suddenly become immoral or anything.
I'd just shrug my shoulders and keep on living.
