Depends on the allergy...try eating all natural products or organic foods. Also some docs believe if you eat the food you are allergic too in small doses over a period of time you can build up an immunity to the allergy. Before trying anything like that you should consult a doctor as food allergies can be dangerous. I am allergic to anything with a gum base in it so I opt for everything natural with no preservatives.

1) what was your reaction to sulfa drugs? a) upset stomach = side effect (not allergy) b) rash/throat swelling= allergy 2)the preservatives you mentioned will likely not cause any allergic reaction (rash, swelling) 3) you may have some digestive tract issue, causing the stomach aches---

Dont eat that food u are allergic too.
Drink veg. juices, peaches are good for allergies.
Drink plenty of water.Take Vitamin C.

the best way is to avoid the kind of food, sometimes latter you may become non allergic for the same food
