Cirrhosis will not be 100% repaired and certainly not without medical help or special supplements like milk thistle.
Drug abuse is iffy at best. That you have stopped is the best cure, but you should confide in your doctor and ask what else can be done for repair.
Be aware that much of drug use cannot be repaired unfortunately.

The body relatively good at repairing itself except brain cells as these die off permanently. The damage caused by drug and alcohol abuse will be repaired completely depending on how badly it was damaged in the first instance. It is said that the lungs can repair themselves once a smoker gives up smoking. It will take time, but it can be done. The lungs start to repair about two days after giving up and can take up to 10 years to recover!

All body tissues can repair themselves, if the right environment is available.
Repair is going on continuously, even during periods of damaging behaviour. If it wasn't, then a small amount of substance abuse would be enough to kill you.
During the abuse, your behaviour will have interfered with your body's ability to obtain and use nutrients effectively. For example, alcohol binges can wipe out large quantities of digestive bacteria(tequila is famous for this), so that nutrients in your food are unavailable.
Your 'motor system' may also be affected, so that any activity triggers an 'emergency' response (adrenaline and cortisol, making minerals and fuels available and increasing nerve sensitivity). This can weaken bones and make you jittery and irritable.
Your mind can also suffer, so that unhelpful thoughts seem reasonable and positive to you.
ALL THESE CHANGES ARE REVERSIBLE. Stopping the abusive behaviour will make your ongoing repair systems more effective.
However, some of the changes are habitual, and some have knock-on effects. You will need to make some active positive efforts to produce the most effective internal environment.
Some kind of therapy or counselling will help you to recognise and change unhelpful thinking.
Dietary changes will allow your body to remember how to get the best nutrition out of your food.

or
THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF HEALING FOODS,
by MICHAEL MURRAY.
Gentle, continuous activities will retrain your muscles and nerves to allow enjoyment of your own senses instead of artificial forms of pleasure. Try T'ai Chi and / or swimming.
I hope that this will help; well done for considering the option of recovery. :-)

It depends on a lot of factors like age and amount of damage, but the body can almost completely heal itself given enough time. Your diet and sleep are the most important factors in healing. The liver can grow back fully if even after even more than half of it has been removed should you be unfortunate enough to need the operartion.
If your body is in a very bad condition it could take years before your back to 100%

I can add another twenty years to that, and have come out the other side reasonably healthy, solvent, and enjoying life, so my body must be a super repair kit.

Live fast, die youngish - that's my current plan of action .... just make sure you do the things you want to first !!!

Your liver should repair but if you've messed with your nervous system that is it. Downhill all the way. Every part of your body can repair itself except the nervous system. And that includes your brain.

that's hard to say. Some repair will come, but will complete repair happen? I think it's different for everyone.
