me and my ex fiance broke up 5 months ago. we were together for 4 yrs. I have a child of my own that he helped me raise for those yrs like it was his child also. He has since moved on into a new relationship, however he still wants to be a part of my child's life. Whenever i talk to him he tells me that he's still in love with me and whenever he sees me he is all over me, yet he tells me that he doesn't want to be with me. He is very active in my daughter's life, but wants to be able to have this other woman around my daughter. my daughter loves him as a father and i don't want to take that from her, but i feel like i can't move on because he's still in the picture. He still comes over and spends time with me, but will not do anything outside of the home with me like we use to. Whenever i ask him about this other woman, he speaks highly of her but then tells me how he feels like he can't be himself around her. is he just leading me on? what should i do? please help.

He is leading you on, move on but let him see your daughter, this is the only father figure she has known, move on with your life tell him you are also seeing someone.

My guess is hes confused on where he wants to be in his life and trying to hold on to the past. I would say maybe him taking your daughter out with just him and keeping you out of that middle place in his life yes you need to move on but I feel in time he will also so at that time he may not be in her life anylonger its hard to say. But move on and find happiness again.
