I am going to start babysitting a 7 month old baby in my home soon for about 30 hours a week and I have no clue what to charge. Can anyone with more recent experience help me out? Thanks!

I think about 120.00 a week is about right.....after they are potty trained then it goes down to about 95 a week, but for infants it is always more

around here(Arizona) the going rate is minimum of $20 if under 6 hours $40 6-9hours per day anything over 9 hours is extra depends on the person doing the babysitting what they charge for extra. so I would charge at least $120 a week.

Personally for a child that age, I charge $7.50 per hour. Older kids that are potty trained I charge a little less for. Some kids are exceptions based on how hard they are to sit for. Since the kid will require a lot of care, that rate is reasonable if you have some experience.

Six bucks an hour would be fairly high so charge less than that but more than 4 bucks an hour since you are doing it so much and for a 7 year old!

That depends on what area you live in. I know around here babysitters get $5.00 to $10.00 an hour, daycares are understandably higher. Usually $200.00 to $300.00 a week per child.
