Companies are trying to make cell phones safer?
Usually people have to die before companies fix their flawed products.

Actually there ARE studies that DO show cell phones are a RISK factor with long term USE. I began using a cell phone around 1996. Back then, they got really hot. Around 2006 I started having some vision things, shimmery floaters, constant eye twitch... The dr could find no problems. I progressed to having a few more problems, minor ones, that could be explained away for a while. In august of 2008, I had a seizure, resulting from a brain tumor. A while back, I was watching a news show that had a dr talking about the link between phones and tumors. He had an illustration of where the tumor would more than likely be located. He pointed out it has been found on the side of the head you hold your phone, slightly above and slightly behind the ear. That is EXACTLY where mine was...if you would like to see my mri, just let me know. I will make it my avatar. I figured I'd just show you in the flesh. That is exactly where it would be if cell phones were a risk factor in brain tumors...Look fast! It will be gone soon!!

Cell phone companies are doing nothing, because they don't have to. And, if they were to admit that there might be health hazards, they open themselves up to class action litigation for negligence...remember the tobacco industry disaster?
