How do u do a french braid but two braids like pig tails?

ok well i dont know how to even do a regular french braid ... i have an idea but im not totally sure.....How do u do a french braid but two braids like pig tails?

You divide the head as if you were going to do normal pigtails and section one side off to keep it out the way.

Then start your braid at the centre of the other section at the top of the head and braid down as you normally would, adding strands in sections as you go with each overlap.

Sounds complex when I re-read what I just wrote - but it isn't - hope it helps

part your hair down the middle and put one side in a ponytail. then start a braid but only do 3 overlaps (you know what i mean?)
each time you weave a strand take some hair from the side that the strand is one and then cross over. keep adding a little hair everytime before you cross over. then you will have a french braid. then do other side.

I don't understand how you french braid your hair in pig tails...do you mean two french braids or do you mean two braided pigtails? I don't see how french braided pigtails would be possible.
