It was by mistake of course, found a bottle that had fallen behind a piece of furniture and took a few sips of it before I noticed and took it away.

PROBABLY THE WORST THING IS THE CHILD MAY THROW UP. beleive it or not sour milk is not harmful (cottage cheese is made from sour milk) sour milk will just taste horrible. now you dont want to make your own cottage cheese thats for sure because you can get sick from the mold that may possibly develope. milk that has been pastuerized is safe even if sour

Nothing will happen. It is ok. Do you know that in Norway and other countries all our parents had to drink was sour milk. They loved sour milk on boiled cold potatoes. They deliberately let the milk get sour. So your child will be ok.

hm. until jsut a moment ago i didn't know cottage cheese was made from sour milk. :| ick.

On to your question:
He'll be okay once it's out of his system, worst that will happen is he'll throw up and have a stomach ach and over all a sick stomach.
He'll be fine.

this has happened to me as well chances are he/she didnt drink much cause it taste really bad, but he/she will just throw it up and be done with it if he/she got very much

well, you'll get a tummy ache and probably get food poisoning it depends on the days its expired
