You're a REAL Christian. It's foolish to say you believe in the "Word of God" when you disregard the Gnostic texts; these texts were deliberately removed in 325 AD. It was the removal of these texts (which are now known as apocrypha) that helped secure the Church's authority over all spirituality, and therefore, over all life.
Those who disrespect the apocrypha are to be pitied, for they've been brainwashed by church propaganda.

Here is what the bible says
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If you have the Lord in your heart based upon the above scripture, then you are a christian and there in no need to dispute that fact.

I know you said no Christians and all,but I can relate to what you just said because people have said that to me too.
From what I can tell,you seem like a Christian.Sure,you may have a different "funk" than other Christians do,but that does not mean that you are not a Christian.

People telling you what you are may have some relations to what you do and say. If you are comfortable anyway for what you think you are; then, why be bothered. I am staying away from the religious practice of Christians and I do not mind the brand as long as I know I am happy with I am and respect other people's beliefs.

I am Christian.....being Christian means following Christ's teachings, not necessarily that you belong to an organized Christian religion or denomination(I do, but I wouldn't call it a requirement). If you love everyone as you would want to be loved....well I'd say you are following Christ's teachings.

Sometimes you say things that directly contradict Scripture. This is probably why people are suggesting that you're not a real Christian.
Have you accepted salvation? Literally? And if so, has the Holy Spirit awakened in your soul? Have you listened to this guidance or ignored it? Do you read God's Word and believe it?
These are questions you can ask yourself to determine whether or not you are true blue.

Okay, I know you said no Christians to answer and I am a Christian, but I just wanted to tell you that it doesn't matter what others think you are, God is the One who knows who you are, and that is all that matters.

I haven't noticed what you've said, so I can't comment on the whole 'not a christian' vs. 'really a christian' controversy. Provide a link to advise us if you really want opinions.
However, shouldn't it be how you really feel in your heart? Or do his human worshippers get to make those judgment calls nowadays? I does beg a lot of questions, doesn't it?

no one has the right to tell you that you are not christian, only you can answer that, you and only you know your heart and where it is. dont listen to anyone who would tell you that. if you love Jesus you are a christian.

How can any of us (i.e. a bunch of people who know nothing about you) answer this question? Do we all appear to be clairvoyant? Here's a clue, write down your theological and dogmatic beliefs and AFTER posting *them*, ask away.
