You don't mention why you don't want to use gel but I suspect it's because it makes your hair feel hard or sticky. First of all, DON'T use baby oil for reasons too numerous to explain here. You DO need to use a leave-in conditioner. One of the products my curly haired clients love is Botz Creme by ABBA Pure and Natural. It's like a leave-in conditioner with a bit of hold. It softens, has sunscreen, tames frizzies, is humidity resistant and it doesn't feel like you have anything in your hair. Waxes and pomades work well too but if you don't like gel you may not like them either. It takes the tiniest little bit and they don't make your hair crispy. I agree with the previous answer about Redken Glass, a little goes a long way and smoothes your hair nicely but the Botz is a better choice if you don't already have a leave-in conditioner. By the way, ABBA is 100% vegan, natural botanicals and has an entire line of hair care for your type of hair. Good luck.

Try a product like Redken Glass. It is a smoother and not very expensive. It also last a long time because you don't need a lot. You just wash and towel dry then rub a dime size (for med. length hair) more if you have longer hair) between your hands and smooth down the length of your hair starting mid way down. I wouldn't do the root area or you may get an oily look. You may even want to try hair wax. If your hair is shorter it works really well! I hope this helps!

you're hair shouldn't experience plasticy after putting gel or mousse in except you're utilizing too lots. attempt utilizing a shine serum to make your hair spectacular and not frizzy. Wash your hair at nighttime and whilst that's damp, positioned some mousse on your hair and run it by way of your hair with a broom or you palms then braid your hair back (french or regularly occurring) into pigtails or a single braid then sleep on it. awaken take out braids and reapply a sprint quantity of mousse or gel and the smoothing serum. The braids will create a smaller, much less pouffy waves at a similar time as the smoothing serum will provide up it from frizzing up. additionally, ask your mom to compromise and help you to take a pair of inches or or a minimum of get layers. It makes your hair look thinner and takes away quantity.

Put some serum!!!!!!! try so sexy serum by victoria's secret.
Baby oil could be ok but i dont think is good for you r hair, so only use it if you dont have anything else.
Also try brushing your hair when you are in the shower instead of when your hair is dry, cause it brakes and makes it more frizzy!
