Nope - it's nice to be a 6' tall 220 lb guy sometimes... don't really need to worry bout some things, not exactly the prototypical target for that sort of thing.

Remember we live in a world where anything can happen. Some people will actually hide under cars and wait for the owner to stand close enough to the vehicle, usually they will either grab the victims legs or cut the back of the heel (achilles tendon) which disables the victim from running or attempting to get away. The "bad person" can then take their purse or wallet or can even possibly rape the victim. Always look around the perimeter of your vehicle especially if your vehicle is alone and in a dark parking lot with no one else around.

I am a female...and I have the right to be scared!!!!!!!!!!1

Two true stories:
1) I started my car one cold morning and my neighbor's cat was sleeping next to my timing belt. It took 4 hours to clean it up
2) I came out of the gym about 6am, tried to get in my car, the glow of small eyeballs made me jump back. An opossum decided my pasenger seat was a good place to give birth to 3 lovely little pink things. Animal control didn't open for two hours, then a couple more hours to get someone out, then once again, clean up time
Now I thoroghly check out the interior before I'll get in, and honk loudly to wake up any sleeping kittiesand make them look for quiet elsewhere(my neighbors love this at 4:30am). It takes a few minutes, but saves HOURS in the long run
The boogie man hides in my closet, not my car

Yeah, I have this concern sometimes too. I have just moved to a "bigger city" and sometimes I forget to lock my doors. I leave work late at night and I always check my backseats if I've forgotten to lock the doors.

how high is your vehicle that someone could hide under it? If someone is under it, get in really fast turn on your car and run them over.

Also check the backseat before you get in. Lock your doors as soon as you get in.

No, I'm not afraid.

Assuming you're a woman, then it is perfectly normal to have these concerns so long as they don't completely rule your life.

My ex-boyfriend hid behind a bush and stalked me. It's possible. Get a long umbrella and poke under the car before you get in it.

It's kind of a tight squeeze, unless you're driving a van or SUV.

I don't even drive and i am paranoid about stuff like that I hate the dark because if something attacks me I can't see them in the dark.
