The Salvation Army does still contribute to Planned Parenthood, as does United Way and GoodWill.

I doubt it. The Salvation Army are right wing American Taliban demagogues. I can't imagine they associate with a group as sensible as PP.

I don't know, but I agree with you. It's far better for women to have tons of unwanted babies than to provide low-cost birth control. The good lord will take care of all those babies whose parents didn't want them in the first place.
