Churches in Missouri were saturating the State with anti stem cell retoric and spending mine and other church members money on this campain. They prayed they spent they lost. I think it is clear God wants churches to help the down trodden and use their resorces in other ways. Do you think Churches will stop being political groups now?

My own opinion? I think they should stick to the gospel and preach about Jesus. This is what they are supposed to do and leave politics to the politicians.

Umbilical cord and adult stem cells have shown much promise but embryonic stems cells? Nothing. The Govts. never cured anything. If there was any promise in it ,the private sector would be all over it.You are right though the Church's job is to get out the Good News about Jesus...or G-D (if you are Jewish).Vikings fan,huh..too bad.....Go Chargers!!

messing in politics? the church is one of the few forces left which stands up against using humans as tools, this is far beyond politics and money, its about our belief that life is not important, and someone needs to protect it!

To "chaos within": the Catholic church has built western civilzation, from farming, to preserving writing, to founding almost every branch of science, to establishing hospitals and providing health care for billions over time, and advancing some of the greatest artistic ages and achievements!

No, I think the Churchy people are digging up their weapons caches and getting ready for an Armed take over. They will be preparing the Armed geddin' that they have been talkin about for so long. They should all be rounded up and put into CIA torture prisons and the truth about their real activities beat out of them! They are the Largest current Threat to the Nation at this time!

I think churches and religious groups, especially evangelicals will do what they can to remain vocal and visible now that the democrats are in-charge.

I wish they'd stop messing in politics. I am not among the faithful and see no reason for them to be pushing that crap on me.

They're free to believe anything they wish. Leave me out of it.

Probably not. They'll keep trying to undermine advancement of our civilization. It is the Christian way.
