I agree with u i think those emotions are human made emotions not of God since he is in fact GOD he would be be above all that wouldnt he? ;P I believe in a loving God higher power And no its not just so that I can run around and sin my lil heart out I have morals. I just dont believe in every word the bible says just because its in there. Its so annoying when u ask a person a question and they are like duh its in the bible and you just wanna say DUH if the bible told u ur father was the anti christ would u believe it?!

Im not religious at all but i think that if there is a God then god would have no emotion or concious, god would create all and be all. In other words the entire universe itself is God. But about your question,i think people are just ignorant and intolerant of other's beliefs. Because in Christianity God is meant to be loving and forgiving, yet the world is full of anger, violence, famine, immorality
sin and war,its only natural that some will question his existence. But you shouldnt let other peoples opinions sway what you believe in. Even if i dont believe in Christianity i dont think its fair that it comes under attack all the time. Theres far more important things in the world to protest against.

We dont assume, God actually tells us this in the Bible. Is judgement not needed? In our "free" society we have people who are judgmental, their called judges. The word ("justice) is even found in the U.S.' pledge of allegiance. Regarding jealousy, imagine your children loved someone else's parents more than they loved you. No human could honestly say they wouldn't be jealous. God only expresses that emotion whe we, his children, love things of this world more than him. Also, God is slow to anger, but he is a God of wrath. So God may get jealous, but God is also a forgiving God. After his grace period ends and your not found in his "Arc" of mercy, then comes his judgement, which may be followed by his wrath or anger

There is no way Mike can be a professor lol.

First, God describes himself as a jealous God, that is to say jealous of the worship of other Gods.

Second it is absurd of anyone to assume that in their 10% brain lies the revelation to everything, that "what I feel must be right" way of thinking. Despite God's actions, assuming you understand them is off the charts arrogant.

To the asker, God is our Judge and will be to all believers or not. Second as I said he is a jealous God and desires us to love him only. Is that so bad???

I have a daughter and I can tell you, it would absolutely kill me if she started treating my brother-in-law like a father, to the point of loving another father figure more than me, her own.

God after all is a father, it just makes sense

God is a God of justice and mercy, but he describes himself in scripture as being jealous, judgmental, and angry, at times. And rightly so.

As the creator of all things, and in light of man's ridiculous and sinful behavior, God has a perfect right to exhibit all those characteristics.

Anyone who ends up in hell is rightly judged by God and deserving of his wrath, which is most certainly real.

Stop trying to create God in your own image.

it is because they are only looking at the Old Testament. Some places in the OT God is angry, and with good reason. They have not read the NT and experienced the loving God you and I know.

If God didn't get angry then how would you explain Noah's Flood, banishment from the Garden of Eden for one sin, Sodom and Gomorrah, the captivity of Israel by Assyria, the captivity of Judah by Babylon, Jesus' harsh words for the Pharisees, Jesus turning over the money changer's tables at the temple, etc., etc.

Have you ever read the old testament? Not only that - but the bible clearly states we will all be judged (we either go to heaven or hell), he insists we have no other gods before him (jealousy), and if we screw up even the slightest bit and don't serve him - he sends us to hell (anger).

What are people supposed to think? I don't think we're working on assumptions here.

Isn't this the judgment of God?
Rev 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Look at the behavior of his followers who claim to be doing his will. And a loving god and the existence of a hell are diametrically opposed, so which is false?
