Why are you not wanting to eat your dinner? Is it because you think you need to lose weight? Is there another reason?
Not eating, and going into anorexia is unhealthy and possibly fatal. It's really easy to sit here and tell you to eat. What I would say is not only to eat your dinner, but you need to talk to someone about what's going on in your mind. Do you talk well with your parents? Talk to them tonight about what you're feeling. If not them, is there a teacher or counselor at school? Talk to them tomorrow. If not that, then what about a friend's parent? Find an adult you trust, and feel comfortable with, and talk this over with them. And you need to do it now (in the next day or so) to get you off this path, and get you the help you may need.
And remember: this doesn't mean anything is "wrong" with you, just that you need some help figuring things out right now.

Lots of people are telling you to just eat, and you should but maybe you should also find something to do that gives you a sense of control and creativity. Controlling your weight by not eating is destructive, but can be very habit forming once you start. But other kinds of creative control are really wonderful, like becoming a very fit athletic person; a runner or some other sport. Or writing in a journal every night. You can write anything in your journal, it is totally yours and you don't have to censor or judge what you write, total control! So many girls think first of their appearance when we are so much more than that. If you don't eat, you'll just become skinny, then too skinny, then sick. If you become athletic or write in a journal or act or paint or sing, the world will open up for you. So eat. Enjoy the delicious food, then go and find all the wonderful healthy things you can create and control. I wish you success and I will be thinking of you

Eat you dinner and tomorrow at lunch don't eat the granola bar(really this is just a cookie) or the fruit snack( more sugar than fruit). Eat an apple instead of apple sauce(more sugar) I hope the sandwich wasn't peanut butter and jelly. Then you'll be hugry for dinner.

You need to eat. Not only can anorexia kill you (which should be enough to get you to eat), it also is cruel to the people who love you. If you're anorexic, your parents will get sick worrying about your health, they'll need to spend tons of money taking you to the doctor or the hospital, your friends will alienate you because they won't know how to relate to you, and people will be disgusted by you. Being anorexic is not cool or fun- it is a serious mental disease that can lead to so many physical problems (not being able to have kids, organ failure, death). Instead of trying to decide if you should eat dinner or not, just focus on eating healthier things (if you're worried about being or getting overweight). The lunch you described is pretty healthy and balanced. Make sure that your dinner is also healthy and well-balanced, and eat a regular-sized portion. PLEASE, do yourself and everyone who loves you a favor and DO NOT go down the road of anorexia. It will be really, really hard to come back.

I'm guessing you had breakfast. The most that could have been was 500 calories. Your lunch might have been 600 calories, so you have around 700 calories to spare before you'll eat enough to gain weight. And that is if you don't exercise
If you're trying to lose weight, might eat just around 300 calories for dinner, you'll lose weight safety, and if you keep that up for around a month, you'll definitely lose 3 pounds. (Safety)

EAT the damn food! jsut dont eat junk food and you wont gain weight!!!! for god's sake eat your dinner or you will gain weight! this is coming from an past annerexic, once i ate again.... i gained 35 lbs! just be healthy and treat your body like a temple, and it WONT dissapoint!!! try to be the most ealthy person ever only eating foods god put here for us like lean meats and all the fruit and veggies u can get, cuz if u think about it... package foods are not naturala nd we DONT need em, and there only hurting us, this is how i lost 40 lbs after being annerexic.

Hey Gabrielle, you need to eat. Not huge amounts, just take small amounts at any one time to get proper nourishment. It's also important to eat smaller meals but more often. So an afternoon snack and a small meal later on is fine.
Why are you hesitating to eat.?.
It is certainly not good for optimum health.
Please, look after yourself.

Eat! Don't be anorexic - It's not cool! You'll end up hating yourself for making a decision like that. You don't have to go through all that just to lose weight.

Eat it! You'll only be hurting yourself if you don't eat. Anorexia is dangerous; you could die from it. Whatever it is you're going through can't possibly be serious enough for you to starve yourself. There has to be someone you can talk to.
