since aparently they put them on before they get baked there has to be a reson for them to stick on what happens while baking to hold them on?

I'm sure that there are many different ways. I work in a bakery, and this is how we make sesame bagels. Before putting the dough in the oven, we spray the bagels slightly with water. Then we dip the bagels in the seeds and put them in the oven. They come out perfect.

They are put onto the dough before it is placed in the oven for baking.

it is sprinkled on the buns (dough ) before it is cooked. that way wen it is already cooked, the sesame seeds sticks to the bun Ü

They grow them there -- much longer and they all start to become little sesame trees right on the bun.

Guessing ...They probably brush it with eggwash (eggs or egg whites mixed with water), then sprinkle on the seeds, then bake. Eggs are like glue for cooking.

one of lifes little mysteries.... jk. they were on the dough when the bun was baked, so they stick unless you pull them off.

special man sauce is applied to bun, seeds are sprinkled, put in the oven and VOILA
