Nope, I actually drove right past my own house one time because they were knocking on my door.

In all my years in the Ministry, going from house to house, I have never encounter a hostile disagreement face-to-face, as in your explanations that you give when a Witness comes to your door. You people have a fantasy mind, Hyponym: bubble, dream, fairyland, fantasy life, fantasy world, ignis fatuus, phantasy life, phantasy world, pipe dream, science fiction, will-o'-the-wisp, wishful thinking. Most of your explanations are nothing more than untruths. Which you have never said or did, you just like to toot your horn.
When I go from house to house, someone may tell me that they are on the phone, busy, or not interested, I simply say, “maybe some other time” and have a nice day, go to the next home, there is always someone that is nice & wants to talk about God's Word.
For those that say they come to the door “nude” all I would say is “you must be missing some brain cells” because no one in their right mind would deliberately come to the front door because of a Religious Organization knocking or ringing doorbell. By the way, each State has facilities, a building or place that provides a particular service, that take care of people like this, they are called a “Mental Institute.”

I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, and I can tell you straight from the horses mouth that we appreciate honesty. We are not trying to irritate folks, we are trying to tell everyone there's a flood coming, so to speak! :) So just say up front that you have very little or no time, and if you really would like to talk to them, arrange a time when they could come back and sit down with you when you DO have some time to spare! And thanks for having (and being willing to use) an open mind! Most people don't know what we believe for sure because they won't listen!

How can you tell before you open the door that it's a Jehovah's Witness? I can't tell, so I always answer. No matter how polite I am, they keep on talking and talking and talking. I hate being rude to people, but that's the ONLY thing that makes these people go away!

Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

Just keep a copy of the Bible by your door and read them this passage and ask them to leave since they claim that Jesus is really the arch-angel Michael.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11 for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

Yes, I love talking to them.
It takes a lot of guts to come up to the house beside the Baptist church, knowing you are going to get the pastor of that church (me)!
I just tell them that we don't worship the same God; my Jesus is the third person of the Trinity, theirs is just a good man; my God said that "by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast," (Eph. 2:8-9) so I can't earn my way to heaven like their doctrines tell them.
I say that their heaven is not my Heaven, because Revelation says that there will be myriads of myriads of people worshiping God, their teaching is that only 144,000 can go to their Heaven. That is a big problem for them because there are more than 144,000 faithful JW's living today, let alone all those who have already died in good graces with their church.

Of course... even though i'm not Jehovah's Wittness, i still think it's nice to talk to them.
If you don't want to talk, just say that but be respectful.
BTW: what's with everyone playing jokes and being disrespectful. That's realy low.
