I would want to know how long have you been experiencing this anxiety? Is it triggered by an event, thought, or feeling or not? Does anyone in your family have an anxiety disorder similar to yours (diagnosed or undiagnosed)? Are you currently taking any medication for this? Is it interfering with your social, vocational, spiritual, parental, marital and/or physical health areas?
Anxiety is an extremely difficult emotion to deal with. Most people with a high level of anxiety cannot just "will" it away, or change their attitudes, nor simply try and change their own emotional state. If it's an on-going state of mental health for you, you could have Generalized Anxiety Disorder (which is usually "free-floating" anxiety where the person has no trigger and the anxiety is constant, even when everything on the outside of the person is OK). Or you could have another type of anxiety disorder. In your question you have not given enough info for me to be more specific in trying to help you....like others here are trying to do--help you.
You are more than welcome to email me and give me more specifics about your anxiety...answering the questions I posed at the beginning of my answer. And I would strongly recommend you see a psychologist or licensed clinical social worker (who does not prescribe meds, but both are very good at diagnosis) or see a psychiatrist (a doctor who can prescribe medications if warranted). I hope this helps, and I certainly hope you begin feeling better very soon.

Oh my gosh! I do too. I am not doing well in my chem class because of it. LAst week, I suffered an anxiety attack and it got so bad I couldnt breath, then I passed out and the school called 911 and took me into the hospital. I hate these, they get in the way. Had it not been for all of these attacks Id be so much more ahead in school than where I am now. I would tell you to ask your doctor to place you on medication but I am on it, and looked at what happened. Dont give up though, this can get really frustrating but there are also good days.
Remmember to take deep breaths and not pass out! Gosh it is so so so so frustrating;

Avoid medications unless the anxiety is ruining your life and you can't function on a daily basis.
If you have some control over the anxiety, what you should do is to spend as little time alone as possible, because that is when your subconscious mind tends to become active, which causes your anxiety.
Focus on just living your life without thinking about it.
Save all your thinking for school or work (no clue what your age is), believe me, you will need all the thoughts you can muster.
Focus your energy on the task at hand, what is commonly called "living in the present."
Don't live in the past or in the future; live in the present and your worries and fears will gradually go away.

I've found that using music therapy works well
Find some music that calms you down (for me its X-Live in Los Angeles, but our tastes probaby differ), when you start to get anxious with no musical playing devices around, learn to focus on song, make it the only thing in your mind, concentrate on the music and/or lyrics until everything else twirling around your brain starts to quiet down
Before bed, get comfy layin down somewhere, and listen to some calming music for about half an hour
There are also cds of music called "pulse music" which has 60 beats per minute, and can actually slow your heart rate as you concentrate on the music
Klonopin helps too

Please drink lots of water whenever you are nervous about something....try using a stress ball as well....
I would recommend meditation for you as it would bring you to peace with your innerself and then you would realise your true colors and you will become more confident....
Also what you can do is do simple breathing excercises....Like inhaling and exhaling....
And whenever you have a panic attack try coughing out hard and you will feel better....Coz what happens when you have a panic attack is your heart and your lungs squeeze for more air and the coughing will pump your heart and your lungs will be filled with air.... So it will make you feel good and confident....

I have been the same way until I realized that I cannot control everything in my life. I give all that worry and anxiety up to god and he takes care of it for me. That way I can start a brand new day.
Don't worry. Relax, Breath and give up your troubles to God. He will give you strength.
God Bless

This sounds like a trip to the doctor would be helpful. Dont worry about it - just make an appointment and go. You need to talk to someone about this.

Go to the doctor get medicine. Don't suffer like I did for years. Don't listen to people that tell you not to take medicine. They haven't been in that situation. Good Luck.
