Know if you need to lose weight

Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.

You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.

BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese

Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

No not at all! A twelve year-old weighing only 90 pounds would actually be under average.

Depends greatly on your height.

Otherwise this is probably normal weight.
My 11 yr old sister weighs around 23kg (50 lbs) shes quite small though.

Go to a height weight chart

It all depends on your body type. Are you big boned, little boned and how tall are you. You may want to go online and type in teen weight. You may find a chart with age and height, Some of the charts may not be true b/c you may have a diffrent body type. Everyone is diffrent. Just eat and stay healthy

it really depends on how tall you are. i was acutally 4'10" at that age and weighed about 105. you'll probably lose a bit of weight when you get older as well, because of your developing body.

that depends on how tall you are, but it doesn't sound like its too much unless you are very short. Go to webmd they should have an average weight and height chart for your age range.
